TRS Leaders complained to Party Leadership against Rajya Sabha MP D Srinivas and sent a letter to CM KCR seeking his expulsion. DS challenged TRS Leadership to expel him or make the leaders who complained against him issue an apology. KCR didn't respond on any of these demands for several months.
D Srinivas met Rahul Gandhi recently after guiding his 4,000 followers in Nizamabad Urban and Nizamabad Rural to join Congress in the presence of PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy. He, however, didn't confirm his re-entry into the National Party officially.
D Srinivas might have refrained from confirming his entry into Congress officially as he is still continuing as TRS Rajya Sabha Member. If DS resigns to TRS and joins Congress, He would end up losing the Rajya Sabha Seat.
Analysts say, D Srinivas could be taking his time as he is yet to obtain clear assurance from the Congress Party on the demands placed by him. He won't wait for longer if Mahakutami-led by Congress comes to power.
