Decision on Alliance with Jana Sena Today

CPM National General Secretary Sitaram Yechuri informs that his party is going to take the decision on pre-poll alliance with Jana Sena Today.
Sitharam Yechuri: 'Severe drought could be witnessed in South India. In Tamil Nadu alone, Around 200 farmers have committed suicide. As many as 16,000 farmers had committed suicide in the past three years. 60% of people aren't able to receive ration due to Aadhaar. We have opposed EVMs in 2009 itself'.
Left Parties have been keen to work with Jana Sena Party for upcoming General Elections. They will form a formidable force if alliance materializes.
Why Left Parties wish to form Pre-Poll Alliance with Jana Sena? i) Ideologies Match to some extent, ii) PK's Charisma, iii) Alliance with either TDP or YCP don't fetch them enough Tickets in 2019 Polls. Teaming up with Jana Sena could earn them maximum number of MLA & MP tickets.
