How Delhi Man cheated Amazon of Rs 50 lakh?

Shivam Chopra, a Delhi Youth, has duped Amazon to the tune of Rs 50 lakh between the period April-May this year.
The 21-Year-Old used to place an order for Expensive Smartphone on Amazon. Once after placing an order with incorrect address, The delivery person automatically makes a call to the registered mobile number. Then, Shivam Chopra would guide him to a location close to his locality and collect the item. Upon receiving the delivery, He would claim refund by alleging the delivery person had only offered him an empty box. Later, He will sell the mobiles either on OLX or Gaffar market in Delhi.
In that fashion, Shivam Chopra placed orders for 166 mobiles of leading brands such as Apple, Samsung and Oneplus.
Finally, Delhi Cops nabbed Shivam Chopra after Amazon lodged a complaint. Rs 12 lakh in cash, 19 mobiles, 40 bank passbooks and cheques were seized from his home. Cops found out that Shivam had deposited some amount in his bank account and kept Rs 10 lakh with a person as a safety measure.
Even the Telecom Store Owner who supplied over 141 pre-activated SIMs to the Accused for placing orders was also arrested. He used to charge Rs 150 for each SIM.
