Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh opined the downward trend of Indian economy is because of the adventure in the form of demonetisation.
Known to be the one behind Economic Reforms during PV Narasimha Rao's regime in the 90s, Manmohan Singh declared note ban was an unnecessary adventure. He quoted, 'Demonetisation failed everywhere except in few Latin American Nations'.
Mr.Singh claimed his prediction that Indian Economy would slowdown after the launch of Demonetisation has come true. He, however, treats Goods and Services Tax as a good thing which happened since a long time. 'GDP was better in the last quarter of 2016-17 financial year than first quarter of 2017-18 financial year,' he told.
Manmohan declares China is now a champion of globalization. He confidently says the current state of mind of US President Donald Trump won't last for more than a year.
