Dinesh Kumar - AP New Chief Secretary?

The focus has been shifted to Andhra Pradesh new Chief Secretary at present. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is doing his home work to pick up the best he can.
Term of present AP Chief Secretory SP Takkar will end on Tuesday (February 28th, 2017). In his place, Chandrababu Naidu decided to appoint Ajay Kallam who will be retiring on March 31st this year. Though AP Government wishes to use the services for Ajay Kallam for 6 more months, PMO and DOPT turned down the proposal seeking extension of retirement. Instead, AP Government was instructed to prefer the official who have service rather than the one who retires in a month as Chief Secretary.
As a result, AP Chief Minister is in favor of 1983-batch IAS Officer Dinesh Kumar who term lasts till September 2018. Orders could be expected Today declaring Dinesh Kumar as the new CS of Andhra Pradesh.
