Donald Trump congratulates Narendra Modi

US President Donald Trump called up Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to congratulate him for the victory of BJP in the 5-State Assembly Polls.
Modi-led BJP formed Governments in four out of the five states (Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Goa, Punjab) which had gone for polls. The popularity of NaMo only skyrocketed after these election results.
Following the Phone Talk between Trump & Modi, White House issued a statement saying US considers India as a true friend and partner in addressing the challenges across the World. The Two Global Leaders even extended invitations for each other to visit their respective nations. Trump invited Modi to visit US later this year.
PM Modi is the 5th Foreign Leader Trump has spoken after his swearing-in ceremony. Earlier, He spoke to UK PM Theresa May, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, Egypt President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
