Duplex Flat for Rs 160 crore? A New Record!

Real Estate Giant Lodha Group set a new record by selling super-luxury duplex apartment in Mumbai's Altamount Road for Rs 160 crore. An influential personality in a pharmaceutical company has purchased this expensive property.
Lodha Group confirms the deal but refused to disclose the identity of the buyer. This Apartment which is spread over 10,000 sq ft was sold for a highest price ever in terms of sq ft.
The luxury-apartment was spread over 33rd & 34th floor of Lodha Group's project One Altamount. Lodha Group purchased this land parcel from US Consulate for Rs 342 crore in 2012.
The earlier record stood at Rs 57 crore at a cost of 1.35 lakh per sq ft for a sea-facing duplex apartment on Mount Pleasant Road.
