BJP Leadership denied Cabinet Berth for LK Advani during NDA-1. To everyone's shock, Even MP Ticket wasn't offered to the Veteran during 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. By doing so, Modi Camp didn't let Advani create history. Had if he was in poll fray in 2019, The 91-Year-Old Leader would have been the oldest candidate to contest for Lok Sabha Polls. He might have also surpassed the record of JD (U) Leader Ram Sunder Das who completed his term as MP at the age of 93 if he contested and emerged victorious in 2019 Polls.
Post the victory of NDA, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Chief Amit Shah met BJP Veterans LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi who were denied MP Tickets in 2019 Elections. Informing about the meeting, Modi told BJP is able to achieve historic victory in 2019 because of great leaders like Advani who spent decades building the party and taking the ideology into the people.
Modi opined Murli Manohar Joshi is a scholar and intellectual par excellence. He went on to say Joshi has strengthened BJP, had been mentor to partymen including him and contributed a lot to Indian Education.
