England created history by posting World record ODI score during the 3rd ODI Match against Pakistan. The English Cricketers posted a total of 444 runs at the loss of just 3 wickets in 50 Overs. Alex Hales (171 runs) was the top scorer in the team. He was caught on 72 but it was a no-ball and dropped on 114.

Joe Root scored 85. The 2nd wicket partnership between Hales and Root is 248. While Jos Buttler made unbeaten 90 in 51 balls, Morgan scored 57 runs.

In reply, Pakistan were all-out for 275 runs in 42.4 overs. They never looked to be in control of chase and wickets fell at regular intervals. While opener Sharjeel Khan made 58 runs, Pacer Mohammad Amir scored 58 runs in 28 balls to set a last wicket stand of 76 runs with Yasir Shah.

England won the 5-ODI series 3-0. They have two more ODIs left and England have the luxury to test its bench strength.

Sri Lanka holds the record of posting highest ODI score. In July 2006, 443 runs has been scored by them at the loss of 9 wickets against Netherlands.
