TDP Leader and EX MLA Wife Arrested

Vizag police on Saturday night arrested former MLA and current TDP leader Gandi Babji's wife Smt Vijaya. She was arrested by the cops at her siripuram residence and the arrest took place based on a cheating complaint. Going into details Vijaya who also a retired DSP has allegedly collected huge amount of money in pretext of offering jobs to youth. She has reportedly collected Rs 4.08 lakh from three vegetable vendors M Girisam Reddy, G Gopi Reddy, N Appa Naidu and B Jagannadha Rao 2013 with a promise of placing them in good jobs.
However, after taking money Vijaya simply disappeared and kept on changing residences. Though a complaint was lodged in 2013, no action was taken all these days.The victims has approached the the Vizag's new Commissioner who sprung into action and arrested Vijaya who's taking shelter at her sister's home. She was arrested and sent for medical examination. She will be produced tomorrow in the court.
