Purandeswaris Son In YSR Congress?

Strong buzz is doing rounds about the possibility of Former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari's Son Hitesh Chenchuram contesting on YSR Congress Ticket in 2019 Elections. He was keen to make his political entry from Parchur Constituency in Prakasam. This was the Assembly Segment represented by his Father Daggubati Venkateswara Rao for several terms. NTR's Son-in-Law won from Parchur in 1989 Polls on TDP Ticket, 2004 & 2009 Elections on Congress Ticket.

Post bifurcation, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao felt he isn't good enough to contest again as money became a high priority in politics. He retired from active politics in a respectable manner. This move came as a blessing in disguise for TDP Candidate Eluru Sambasiva Rao who won from Parchur in 2014 Elections.

Though she is continuing in BJP, Purandeswari knew there willn't be any use of contesting on the ticket offered by National Party in next elections. Then, How could she put the political career of his Son at risk? This could be the reason why Daggubatis are keen to associate with YCP. Whether or not Purandeswari should continue with BJP or shift loyalties to YSRC is a million dollar question. She mayn't miss the opportunity if YCP allots Vijayawada Lok Sabha ticket.
