Facebook draws 1 billion users in a single day

Social networking giant facebook creates an unbelievable record on last Monday. For the first time over a billion people(100 crores) used Facebook on a single day.The news was revealed by its founder Mr Zuckerberg.
"1 in 7 people on Earth used Facebook to connect with their friends and family", Zuckerberg said in a post. "This was the first time we reached this milestone, and it's just the beginning of connecting the whole world," added Zuckerberg.
Facebook was founded in 2004 by Mr Zuckerberg while he was a Harvard student and it has nearly 1.5 billion users . Facebook gained its billionth user in October 2012.In last july Facebook claimed that more than half of world's online users logged in to their website at least once a month.
