Viral: Farmers Chase TRS MLA On The Road!

Peddapalli Legislator Dasari Manohar Reddy received flak from Farmers over the failure of TRS Government in releasing the irrigation water from the SRSP Canal.
Upon having information about the MLA's visit, Farmers of Gangaram village in Kalwa Sriramur Mandal blocked the way. The attempts made by the Legislator to pacify the agitating Farmers failed. Villagers began arguing with the MLA that they had raised crops believing the promises made by TRS Government. Slogan were raised when the MLA tried to leave the spot in a hurry. Police escorted him to ensure his safety until he crossed the village limits.
This incident which took place on January 17th this year caused huge embarrassment to the TRS Government. Neither Telangana CM nor Irrigation Minister responded over the issue so far. The coverage offered by National Media to this incident is affecting the brand image built by KCR.
