Farmers Make MP Who Defeated Kavitha Sign Bond Paper

One of the major reasons behind the defeat of Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao's Daughter Kavitha in Nizamabad was the movement launched by Turmeric Farmers. 178 Farmers contested 2019 Elections filing their nominations in Nizamabad Constituency. This situation came as blessing in disguise for BJP MP Candidate Dharmapuri Arvind (S/o D Srinivas). Much to everyone's surprise, He emerged victorious with a majority of over 68,000 votes.
Now, Turmeric Farmers made D Arvind sign the bond paper assuring that he would work according to their aspirations and resolve their issues. In case if D Arvind fails to make Centre establish Turmeric Board and fulfil other demands, He will have to tender his resignation for the MP Seat.
As many as 185 Candidates contested for Nizamabad Lok Sabha Seat. Election Commission used several EVM Machines for the polling in this parliament constituency. Turmeric Farmers gave a message that all those supporting them must ignore first EVM and prefer using remaining EVMs to exercise their right to vote. While a Turmeric Farmer received around 6,000 votes (highest), Another Farmer secured 100 votes (lowest). Total votes polled for Turmeric Farmers are around 90,000.
