Father Aims Lok Sabha, Son Eyes Assembly!

AP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad is the Sitting MLA of Sattenapalle Assembly Constituency. He is likely to be TDP Candidate for Narsaraopeta Lok Sabha Constituency in the upcoming elections. Sitting MP Ramapati Sambasiva Rao decided to retire from active politics due to health issues. His Son Ranga Rao could be contesting in the Assembly Polls from Sattenapalle in this elections.
Kodela seems to have moved the proposal of fielding his Son Sivaram in Narsaraopeta Assembly Segment. TDP Leadership responded positively to the appeal made by Kodela if the media reports are true.
Modugula Venugopal Reddy might be the YCP Candidate for Narsaraopeta Lok Sabha Constituency. Currently, He is representing Guntur West Constituency and would be joining YCP soon.
In 2009 Polls, Modugula defeated Congress Candidate Bala Sourie in Narsaraopeta Lok Sabha Segment. He received fist blows from Congress MPs in Lok Sabha during the passage of Telangana Bill. During 2014 Election, TDP Leadership promised Ministry for Modugula if he contest for Assembly Seat. However, That promise wasn't honoured and Modugula is unhappy about it since then.
