Feels Humiliated: RBI Staff to Urjit Patel

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Staff wrote a letter addressing Governor Urjit Patel over too much interference of Union Government.
RBI built an image of efficiency and independence over the decades with the efforts of its Staff & Policies. Staff claims to be pained by the events post demonetisation.
Curtailing the independence of RBI by appointing an official for currency coordination didn't go down well with its Staff. The operational mismanagement post note ban dented the image of RBI.
RBI has been handling Currency Management for over eight decades since 1935. The Staff maintained that there is no need for any assistance and Finance Ministry's interference is unacceptable.
