GHMC takes over DK Aruna's Property

GHMC Officials have taken over the land (400 Gajam) worth Rs 40 crore at Jubilee Hills check post. Former Congress Minister DK Aruna has been claiming that this property adjacent to the Petrol Bunk belongs to her since some time and even filed a case in the court. Even Society claims this property belongs to it.
GHMC Officials made it clear this particular piece of land neither belongs to Bharat Simha Reddy (DK Aruna's Husband) nor Society. Commissioner Somesh Kumar has instructed Officials to demolish the illegal constructions in the premises.
Amid tight security arrangements, Destruction Process of the few establishments in this area was taken up by the team led by Town Planning ACP Sekhar Reddy. The entire demolition exercise has been completed within 3 hours.
