KJ Yesudas is finest singers South India and we should be proud of him. Countless melodious songs were sung by him in various languages. Yesudas enjoys a wonderful following among the present generation as well. The legendary singer has achieved so many awards and rewards in his long career. But still, Yesudas has a dissatisfaction with an aspect. He was deeply pained by for the denial of his entry into the famous temples.

In a recent development, Yesudas made shocking comments for denying him to enter temples. He said that "It is possible even for insects to enter the temple, but not me. If I had been born as a cockroach or a fly, it would have been possible for me to enter the Guruvayur." He made these comments when he was speaking at an award ceremony. The event was held at Poornathrayeesa temple at Tripunithura, Ernakulam. The award was has been instituted in the name of Yesudas father Augustine Joseph.

Yesudas was born in a Roman-Catholic family but he also a follower of Hindu religion. Yesudas expressed his wish to have a darshan of Lord Krishna in Guruvayur Temple. As temple rules prohibit non-Hindus to enter the sanctum sanctorum, Yesudas was denied entry. Yesudas sang many songs on Lord Krishna. Apart from Guruvayur temple, he has been denied entry into several other famous temples like Kadampuzha Devi temple in Malappuram.

Though he got the permission to visit Thiruvananthapuram Padmanabha Swamy temple on Vijayadasami day, Yesudas politely refused the offer. He said that "There is no use in rushing. When God calls, I will visit him."
