H-1B Visa Applications to be accepted from April 3

Applications of H-1B Visas for the financial year 2018 will be accepted from April 3rd this year. Surprisingly, US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) didn't mentin till when the H-1B Visa applications will be accepted.
Usually, USCIS used to accept the H-1B Visa petitions for the first five business days. It kept receiving ample applications during this period to fill the mandatory 85,000 H-1B Visa limit.
Indian IT Companied and Techies breathed a sigh of relief knowing there won't be any change in H-1B Visas at least for financial year 2017-18.
Out of 85,000 Congressional Mandated H-1B Visas limit, About 65,000 are in general category and 20,000 are being allotted for Foreign Students who have Masters or Higher Qualification from any US Institution. Of course, People who come to US for Research and to work in Scientific Institutions have been exempted from this limit.
