Why Rajini's Wife must pay Rs 21000 per Month?

Rajinikanth's Wife Latha received a setback in the petition related to rentals of structures belonging to the Chennai Corporation.
Reportedly, Latha Rajinikanth obtained a shop in the structure belonging to Chennai Corporation for her Travellers Company. She has been paying a rent of Rs 3,702 per month to the Corporation for years now. In last June, Corporation increased the rent of this shop to Rs 21,160 per month.
Latha Rajinikanth moved a petition in a Chennai court objecting the drastic hike in the rentals. On behalf of the Corporation, Advocate TC Gopalakrishnan argued that State Government have all the powers to revise the rentals of Corporation Structures once in every 9 years as per GO 92.
Justice Vaidyanathan favoured the Corporation upon hearing the arguments of both the parties. The petition moved by Latha Rajinikanth has been dismissed.
