HDFC Asset Management Company offer price was set at Rs 1,100. It was listed at Rs 1,738 on Monday upon increasing by 58 percent. The share value had gone up to Rs 1,863 at one stage and finally settled at Rs 1,815 to record a 65 percent growth.
As per the current market value, Company CEO Milind Barve's shareholding is now worth Rs 188 crore. Even the shares worth of Chief Investment Officer Prashant Jain increased to Rs 161 crore.
HDFC AMC's Initial Public Offering (IPO) was aimed to raise Rs 2,800 crore. It received bids to the tune of Rs 1.71 lakh crore.
