Is it the Final Date for Hyd Metro Rail launch?

From when does Hyderabad Metro Rail would be operationalâ¦This is a million dollar question among all the people living in the Telangana Capital. Why because, Several deadlines have been missed already. Even the wish of many people to see Metro Rail move on the track from coming Dussehra isn't going to be fulfilled.
As per the latest update, Hyderabad Metro Rail will be flagged off on January 3rd next year by Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he arrives to the city for National Science Congress. In the first phase, Metro Rail will be operational on Nagole-Begumpet and Miyapur-Ameerpet routes. In the 2nd Phase, Metro Rail will be operational from Begumpet to Ameerpet. Already, 53 metro rails with 3 coaches have reached Hyderabad and even a test ride has been conducted.
Works of Metro Rail Project have been at a full swing in 66 km stretch. There will be 7 Stations in Nagole-Mettaguda stretch lasting of 8 km and 10 Stations between the 12 km stretch of Miyapur-SR Nagar.
