Had if I endorsed brands, I could have pocketed several crores by now. Few people has shown disrespect to me when I decided to be the ambassador of Handlooms. They commented - 'Vaddiche Vallanu Kakunda Vistharakulu Erukone Variki Chesthe Emi Vastundhi'. I take pride in endorsing handlooms. Respecting Handlooms is like giving due respect to Indian Culture. From now, Handloom Weavers should be addressed as Handloom Artistes. At the same time, Politicians shouldn't use adage as per their convenience and insult the castes. People need to get used to wearing handloom clothes at least once in a week'

Last but not the least, Pawan announced: 'I will be speaking on the issues of Handloom Weavers in the Assembly after contesting 2019 Elections'.
