IT Raids On TDP MP CM Ramesh

Income Tax Officials raided the properties of TDP Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh. As many as 60 officials took part in the raids conducted at around 25 locations which include official residence and offices. This development happened within 3 days after CM Ramesh sought details about the IT Raids in AP as a PAC Member.
In the recent past, IT Department conducted raids on the residences and business establishments of AP Minister P Narayana and Rajya Sabha MP Sujana Chowdary. And now, Another key leader CM Ramesh became a target.
Political Opponents allege TDP has been getting most of the funding for elections from P Narayana, CM Ramesh and Sujana Chowdary. There were speculations that these three TDP Leaders who are close to Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh are acting as their benamis.
IT Officials came to know that CM Ramesh amassed huge wealth through contracts of Government Projects. Raids were conducted at 8 locations in Hyderabad and 2 spots in Kadapa.
CM Ramesh who is in Delhi told IT Raids are expected as Centre holds grudge on the TDP Government. He, however, claimed to be not scared of such threatening acts.
