Is AP Capital a Film Set?: IYR asks CBN

Former AP Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao slammed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for the approach he adopted to construct the new capital. 'Is AP Capital a Film Set? What is the need for involving SS Rajamouli in the preparation of designs for AP Assembly & High Court? Lack of proper planning is the reason behind the setbacks TDP Government has been facing,' he opined.
IYR Krishna Rao accused State Government of splurging huge amount of money for designs of AP Capital. He advised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to focus on what people really need.
AP Government approached Japan's Maki & Associates and London's Norman Foster for the designs. Initially, Chandrababu praised the designs submitted by Japanese firm but later rejected them. Even the designs of Norman Foster were disapproved and Rajamouli was roped to guide the Top Architects. CM Chandrababu might finalize the designs during his ongoing foreign tour if he is satisfied with the outcome.
