Prime Minister Narendra Modi took some valuable gifts to US with the sole intention to win the hearts of President Donald Trump & First Lady Melania.
For Melania, Modi brought hand-woven shawls from Himachal Pradesh and J&K, Hand-crafted silver bracelet from Himachal Pradesh, Tea and Honey from Kangra Valley.
For Trump, Namo gifted postal stamp issued 52 years ago in 1965 to mark the death of former US President Abraham Lincoln. Even a wooden chest specially made in Punjab's Hoshiarpur was presented.
On the other hand, President Trump turned into a guide for Modi in the White House. He showed Lincoln's bedroom & residence quarters to the Indian PM. Even a copy of Lincoln's Gettysburg address and the desk on which he wrote it was shown to Modi.
