Gurtej Singh Randhawa, an Indian-origin Teenager in London, was sentenced for 8 years in prison by a UK Court for placing online order for explosives to kill his Father for refusing to approve his Girlfriend.

UK's National Crime Agency (NCA) replaced explosives with dummy device before the order was delivered to Gurtej. They kept a close watch on his activities before arresting him in May last year.

While pronouncing the judgement, Justice Cheema-Grubb told he is very much convinced that Gurtej wishes to kill his conservative Sikh Father for refusing to allow his relationship with White Girlfriend. The court considered the ploy of the 19-Year-Old to set off explosives in the car of his Father as severe offense.

The explosive device Randhawa can pose threat to lives of people if used it with wrong intentions. A stringent punishment was ordered as the charges were proven.
