Indian Fumes At US Pub For Hindu Gods In Toilet

Ankita Mishra, an Indian-American Woman, was stunned to find the images of Hindu Gods from Lord Shiva to Goddess Khali on the Toilet walls in a New York Pub. In a blog shared after visiting the 'House of Yes' pub in Bushwick, She wrote: 'I could not stay quiet when I suddenly found myself in a curiously-decorated VIP bathroom inside House of Yes in Bushwick, NY. The walls were papered with bejeweled images of Hindu gods like Ganesha, Saraswati, Kali and Shiva'.
The Woman claimed to be having a true desire to see the images of Hindu Gods on bathroom walls taken down. She finally concludes her post with the appeal, 'Please don't make me lose faith in the ability we all have to right some wrongs and truly hear each other out'.
Management of 'House Of Yes' Pub apologized for being involved in something related to the cultural disrespect. 'Offensive bathroom will be redesigned ASAP, ' assured the Pub Co-Founder Kae Burke.
Earlier, There have been incidents of images of Hindu Gods on Toilet Seats as well. What happened in the case of 'House Of Yes' should be a lesson for the People in the West, particularly those who disrespect Hindu Culture.
