Robert W Taylor, the man behind the creation of Internet and Modern Personal Computer, passed away on Thursday (April 13th) at the age of 85 in his San Francisco residence, USA.
Taylor was instrumental in creating Ethernet, One of the first search engines AltaVista and Microsoft Word as well. He has worked for NASA and Arpa. He provided millions of dollars to reputed Universities for Computer research. In 1996, He announced his retirement.
It's an understatement to say Robert is a visionary. He has foreseen the benefits of Internet people across the World has been enjoying Today in 1968 itself.
