What is Kanna Lakshminarayana's position in the BJP? Is he the party president in Andhra Pradesh? Why is it that he is not seen with the party biggies touring the state? Who speaks on behalf of the AP BJP? Should it be the likes of Ram Madhav and GVL Narasimha Rao or state party president?
These doubts are bound to arise given the kind of politics that is happening in the AP BJP. While the party is joining the people right left and centre, Kanna Lakshminarayana is missing from the group photo. He is being seen elsewhere joining low-rung cadre into the party. Of late, anything on party affairs is coming from either GVL or Ram Madhav and Kanna seems to be not in the know of things at all. There is also a talk that he might soon be replaced by Daggubati Purandeswari, a leader from the dominant Kamma caste.
Many activists of the party are complaining that they are unable to understand who is at the helm of the affairs in the party. The long-standing organising secretary of the party Ravindra Raju has been quietly sent to Delhi and the new organising secretary is yet to find his mojo. As things stand today, the bigwigs are joining the party but do not know what to do next.
