Union Government appointed Biswa Bhusan Harichandan as the new Governor of Andhra Pradesh last week. Farewell Speech of the outgoing Governor ESL Narasimhan who is also the longest serving Governor of the State has been a sensation.
While appreciating the YCP Rule in Andhra Pradesh, Narasimhan opined CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been knocking the ball out of the park...It's more likes hitting every ball for a 4 or 6 in the power play. At the same time, He advised Jagan to go slow after smashing the ball for the first few overs and accelerate again towards the end, which means by the end of 5 year term. The wish was to see Yuva Neta remain not out with as many centuries as possible.
Narasimhan is all praise for the way Jagan built his empire by having a capable team. Even the approach of YCP in Assembly (Four D's: Debate, Discussion, Dissent & Decision) has been applauded. He said, 'Jagan has been striving hard for corruption-free rule. He created wonders within 54 days after becoming the Chief Minister. A good culture has been maintained in the Assembly'.
Interestingly, Narasimhan described Jagan and his Wife Bharathi as a special couple pointing out how supportive she was to her husband all the time.
YS Jagan felicitated Governor ESL Narasimhan on this occasion. He told, 'I feel sad to see him leave AP and also happy that he continues to stay in the neighbouring state. Just alike My Father, Narasimhan used to advice Me in the past 10 years. He got hold of my hand and made Me walk beside him during my swearing-in ceremony. I wish his blessings will be always on us'.
