On Monday Morning, CM Jagan traveled in a Helicopter to Simhapuri University from Renigunta airport. He visited the stalls set up by various government departments. Later, he lighted the lamp and started the Farmer Assurance scheme. The assurance schemes were distributed to the beneficiaries. Ministers, MLAs, MPs, and dignitaries participated in the event. Marking Jagan's first visit to Nellore for the first time, this event was attended by a large gathering of farmers and YSR Congress party people from the ten constituencies of Nellore.

CM YS Jagan launched the 'Farmer Assurance - PM Kisan scheme' a year earlier, which was supposed to be started in 2020, according to the manifesto of the YSR Congress party. The farmers will get 13,500 as investment assistance. 2,000 has already given to the farmers in June. Another 9,500 will be provided to farmers in October and 2,000 will be provided on Sankranti. An agreement has been made with the banks to provide this amount to the farmers rather than clearing the old debts. Families of SC, ST, BC and minority sections will get 67,500 at a time for five years. Almost 54 lakh members became benefited from this scheme. The credit of applying this scheme to the families of the lease farmers as well as the cultivating farmers goes to Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan. The political analysts and farmers are saying that no other CM in the country has taken steps to benefit lease and cultivating farmers.
