Jagan Escapes ED Visit With Request

Just few days before there was a piece of news about Enforcement Directorate (ED) issuing summons to Opposition leader YS Jagan asking him to present before them in New Delhi office. ED has issued summons to YS Jagan and auditor Vijayasai Reddy and ordered them to come to New Delhi on Thursday for an inquiry. The report also stated that there could be an arrest as well once he presents before ED in Delhi.
But later there was no update on the news of Jagan attending before ED at New Delhi and many expressed doubts about the authenticity of the report. Now it is coming out that Jagan has skipped the visit to Delhi by personally requesting ED.
He requested the department to allow him to report to ED office in Hyderabad for which the officials has agreed. Jagan also assured them coming to Delhi if it is very necessary.Jagan took the decision as he wants to avoid the media focus in Delhi in corruption cases.
Meanwhile Jagan's meet with Niti Aayog Vice Chairman Arvind Panagariya will happen in few days.
