The Andhra Pradesh government has taken another step to improve transparency and governance in the state. The process has started for cleansing in the Department of Stamps and Registration. The reforms have been started in the Department of Registrations which is facing allegations of corruption, and offerings. From now on the flexibility of sellers and buyers creating documents and applying online has been provided. It has been reported that with this option the transparency in the registration department will improve gradually.

The government has announced that the online registration process will come into effect from 1st November in AP. This will enable the sellers of related properties to make documents themselves and pay the registration fee online. Buyers and sellers do not have to wait for hours and days at the registration offices for their work.

Not only creating their documentation of their activity, but they also have the option to get a time slot by uploading on the registration department website. The new policy came into effect in the sub-registrar offices in Visakhapatnam and Krishna District. The errors were sorted and rectified reportedly.

Sample documents such as sale deals and sales agreement, mortgage registration, gift registrations and GPA for homes, buildings, land, agricultural land were made available on the website of the Department of Stamps and Registrations. 16 Sample Documents are made available. You have to fill in the details and upload them. Document writers used to do this work before. Now, marketers can do it themselves.

The process for this will be as follows

Sample documents such as sale deals and sales agreement, mortgage registration, gift registrations and GPA for homes, buildings, land, agricultural will be available.

Documents will be available in both Telugu and English language

The flexibility of adding extra details has also been provided

A later time slot will be provided for the applicant to apply online.

After being completed print out has to be taken

Upon reaching the registration office at the allotted time officers there will scan the document and complete the registration process.

With this new policy, we can appeal if the documents provided get rejected in the sub-registrars office. The facility to apply to sub-registrar under registration act sections 73 and 74 was provided. You will get an answer in due time as to why the document was rejected. The authorities will certainly have to answer that.

Two groups have been appointed to educate the public on this new scheme. The Awareness programs will be conducted from 14th in Kurnool and Vijayanagaram and Srikakulam and Anantapuram on 15th, Kadapa and Visakhapatnam on 16th, Chittor and East Godavari on 17th, Nellore and West Godavari on 18th, Prakasham and Krishna on 19th, and Guntur on 21st. Lawyers, Doctors, Realtors, Builders were invited to these programs. Suggestions and advice will be taken from them.
