Jana Reddy's Master Stroke Leaves Kodanda Speechless

Who is the cleverest of the Congress leaders in Telangana? Without doubt, the title would go to the wily oldman from Nagarjunasagar - K Jana Reddy. A veteran of Telangana politics, Jana Reddy is the wiliest of the politicians. He knows how to get things done, how to keep everyone guessing and how to outwit the rivals.
This time around, he tried hard to get Miryalguda seat for his son Raghuveer Reddy. Jana Reddy has lot of influence in Miryalguda constituency also. Part of Miryalguda was for a logn time under Chalakurthi, which he represented for years. So, he has great influence in both Nagarjunasagar and Miryalguda. Hence he lobbied hard for Miryalguda for Raghuveer Reddy.
But, the Congress high command clearly told him that only he would be given the ticket and not his son. It told him that Miryalguda was already allocated to the Telanngana Jana Samithi of Prof. Kodandaram.
Jana Reddy has now pulled out Plan B from his pocket. If not his son, the TJS should give ticket to the person of his choice. He told Kodandaram that he would take the complete responsibility for the victory at Miryalguda provided the candidate is of his choice. He wants the ticket to be given to his close relative Mereddy Vijayender Reddy. While Kodanda wants T JAC functionary Vidhyadhar Reddy to be the candidate, Jana brought to the fore the name of Vijayender.
It's my son or my relative - one on Congress symbol or the other on TJS symbol, he told Kodandaram pointblank. Now, with just a couple days for the deadline for the nominations to end, Kodanda is in a dilemma!!
