Congress Leadership is yet to finalize candidates for 5-6 Constituencies for the upcoming Assembly Polls in Telangana. Aspirants & Senior Leaders who are backing them have been making desperate attempts to bag the Ticket. Jana Reddy kept mounting pressure on the Congress Leadership for obtaining ticket to at least one among his Son & Relative.
Generally, Congress follows 'One Ticket for Family' rule. This time, Two Tickets each were offered to the families of Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy. This move prompted other Senior Leaders to lobby for their family members.
Jana Reddy sought Miryalaguda Ticket for his Son Raghuveer Reddy. He is a strong leader in Nalgonda District & that too Miryalaguda is just beside his Nagarjuna Sagar Constituency.
On the other hand, TJS sought Miryalaguda Seat for its leader Vidyadhar Reddy as part of seat sharing. Jana Reddy, however, kept lobbying seeking ticket for his son or demanded his Brother-in-Law's brother M Vijayendar Reddy should be fielded as candidate on behalf of TJS. How could a Congress Leader decide the candidate of TJS? Buzz is that Jana Reddy's Son will contest as Rebel from Miryalaguda if ticket was denied. Anything could happen on the last day of nominations.
