All praises for new Amma Scheme!

Jayalalithaa is earning a permanent place in the hearts of Tamil Nadu with Amma-brand Scheme which were known for providing quality goods at subsidized prices. She is now showered with praises by the poor for the new scheme.
On Saturday, Jayalalithaa introduced 'Amma Kudineer Thittam' scheme which is meant to provide drinking water to the poor. While launching the new scheme, She said the poor people can't afford to buy drinking water supplied by private players and her mission is to fulfill their desire now.
In the first phase, 'Amma Kudineer Thittam' scheme will be implemented in 100 places in Greater Chennai Corporation where most poor people live. Each family would be supplied 20 litres of drinking water per day. Depending on the response from the people, Tamil Nadu Government might consider issuing smart cards for beneficiaries and implement the scheme in other areas as well.
