Jayasudha's Mother is a small-time Actress. Her Father have no way connected to Film Industry. Jayasudha is a distant relative of Vijaya Nirmala and her original name was Sujatha. She made her acting debut as Jamuna's Daughter in 'Pandanti Kapuram'. Later, K Balachander has introduced her in Tamil Films. As there is already an established actress with the name Sujatha, Balachander changed her name to Jayasudha.

Actually, Jayasudha got married to Rajendra Prasad who is a relative of former AP CM Nadendla Bhaskar Rao. But, They parted ways too soon. Later, Jayasudha had fallen in love with Punjabi Film Producer Nitin Kapoor and became his life partner after being in a relationship for 2-years.

Jayasudha: 'My Husband Nitin Kapoor is the first cousin of Bollywood hero Jithendra. In those days, Dasari used to direct Telugu/Tamil films under their Tirupati Pictures banner. Jithendra used to remake those films in Hindi. Jithendra wants to launch Nitin Kapoor as Director. So, He made him work as Assistant Director in Dasari's Camp. I used to feature in all the films of Dasari at that point of time. That's how we both met and got to know about each other'.

'Actually, I was attracted to Nitin Kapoor's looks on the first day itself. May be, It's not love at first sight but I feel like living with him forever. We both like reading books and cricket. We bonded like that! Initially, Our Parents haven't accepted the marriage proposal. Dasari played the role of mediator for our marriage to overcome the North-South conflict. Even K Raghavendra Rao helped us then. Finally, We got married in 1985. Jayasudha got converted to Christianity after marriage'.

'It's been more than 25 years now. If you don't love the other person, That relationship won't sustain for a longer period. My Husband is my best companion. He is my best friend. So, Love is there always!'.
