What is the age for driving license in India? Can you imagine a teenager speeding a vehicle at almost speed of the light. Audience say, his speed is equivalent to that of blood that gushes through the veins.
Jehan Daruvala, 17 year Mumbaikar is passionate about two things. 1) Winning & 2) Winning. He hates to lose, even in the game of chess. If he looses, immediately opts for a rematch.
His love for the sport was realised by his father when they used to go karting in early childhood. Speaking to his father, he recollects how Daruvala learnt to cycle at age of just 2 years. While her sister who is 4 year old was still struggling to pedal.
This teenager is currently training at Sahara Force India F1 team academy and competes in European competitions.
Whenever he goes for a ride, his mother prays, not to finish first but to finish without accident. This young Indian gives a fresh hope for all the racing aspirers. Indian had moderate success in terms of Narayan Karthikeyan & Chandhok. This 12th grade teenager has a huge advantage of having started early and parents able to afford.
While he shuffles between England & Mumbai for education and sport, let us all wish this rookie a great career ahead.
