Cash For Vote Scam Key Accused Arrested

Jerusalem Mathaiah, the key accused in the sensational cash-for-vote case which triggered sensation in Telugu states politics was arrested by cops. Mathaiah who has been escaping arrest in the cash for vote case, was arrested in another fraud. As per reports police took him into custody for cheating youth in the name of giving them jobs The case was registered against Mataiah long back and he was arrested by the Chaitanyapuri police.
As per the complaint Mathaiah have allegedly collected money from job seekers on pretext of providing jobs and later he did not do anything to help them. Mathaiah obtained bail in the case for not appearing before the court despite several reminders.Following court orders Hyderabad police arrested him yesterday.
It may be recalled that Mathaiah fled to Andhra from Hyderabad and also filed a complaint against TRS leaders accusing them of putting his life at risk. Mathaiah who was leader of some Christian associations has recently appointed as Telangana media co-ordinator of UP's Samajwadi Party.
