Telangana Caretaker CM K Chandrasekhar Rao claimed to be confident of retaining power after exercising his right to vote on Friday. 'Mood of the people is in favour of TRS. We don't have any doubts. Exit Polls results arriving Today evening will confirm it. Polling percentage in Hyderabad will be high. Especially, Old Age People are very much keen to vote. In this election, Polling Percentage is going to be higher than what it was in 2014,' he said.
An interesting incident happened in Siddipet on Friday. Ministers KTR and Harish Rao exchanged greeting when they had come face-to-face accidentally. Upon voting in Banjara Hills, KTR was on his way to Sircilla Constituency. At that time, Harish Rao was touring the villages in Siddipet. That is when, The Two Leaders got an opportunity to meet.
Both KTR and Harish Rao stopped their convoys upon spotting each other. KTR congratulated Harish Rao saying his majority in Siddipet will be not less than 1 lakh. He even joked, 'I will try to get at least half of that in Sircilla'. The Ministers expressed their happiness over the polling percentage in this election.
