KCR Sends 100 Tonnes Food To Kerala

Telangana Government is leading by example in offering a helping hand to the flood victims in Kerala. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Cabinet Ministers made generous contributions already. While TRS Government announced Rs 25 crore, Ministers came forward to donate their one month salary.
In addition, 100 metric tonnes of nutritious food known as 'Balamrutham' manufactured by Telangana Foods was airlifted by two Defence Aircrafts from Begumpet Airport to Kerala. This contribution which is worth Rs 52.5 lakh is meant for the children in flood ravaged areas of Kerala. It is sufficient to provide enough supplementary nutrition to as many as 50,000 children for a period of 10 days.
KCR instructed Lawmakers and Officials in Telangana to provide all possible help to Kerala in the relief operations. He even appealed Business Personalities to donate generously for the good cause.
There is a lot other States and even the Central Government need to learn from Telangana Government here. KCR's helping nature has been appreciated so much by the netizens.
