First Glimpses: Telangana Martyr Memorial!

TRS Government planned to set up Telangana Martyr Memorial on a grand note in Hyderabad. About 2.5-acres of land near Hussain Sagar has been identified for this prestigious monument.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao approved the final designs of Telangana Martyr Memorial which is a symbol for the sacrifices made during statehood movement. A Museum, Conference Hall and Restaurants will be coming up in the 4-floor structure. Traditional diya, which is timeless, is gonna be centre of attraction.
Telangana Martyr Memorial already exists in Gun Park and it's been in the memory of 1971 separate statehood movement. But now, KCR wanted to establish a memorial as a mark of honour for the sacrifices made by martyrs during the movement spearheaded by him. As much as Rs 80 crore has been allotted for the project with the aim of making it a landmark-cum-tourist attraction.
