This Valentine's day will be special. Love will blossom between one chief minister and a future chief minister. Well! Don't read too much into this. It's going to be a newfound bonhomie between Telangana CM KCR and YSRCP chief YS Jagan. On February 14, KCR will go to Amaravati to meet Jagan and invite him to his Yagam, which will be held on February 21. Of course, there is another occasion for the meet. KCR will attend the house-warming function of YS Jagan's new house at Amaravati.
But, we all know this meet is not just about an invitation to attend a yagam or a house-warming. It 's much more. KCR is all set to take his relation with Jagan to the next level. After telephonic conversations on January 15 and 16, KCR sent his son KTR to Jagan for a luncheon. Now, he himself will go and meet Jagan, not in Hyderabad, but in Amaravati. This is being seen as a direct challenge to Chandrababu Naidu.
KCR is eager to have Jagan on board in his proposed Federal Front. He feels that together, AP and Telangana can work together and can have a significant chunk of MPs to play a key role at the Centre. In fact , even during 2014, KCR said he wanted Jagan to win in AP so that he and Jagan can work together.
