Ever since 2014 Polls, TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao has been treating MIM as a friend or partner to bring more stability to his Government.
Prior to the GHMC Polls, KCR given enough hints of seeking MIM support to claim Mayor seat in Greater Hyderabad. TRS even remained silent when Congress Leaders were assaulted by MIM on the polling day. With remarkable victory of TRS which won 99 seats, There is no necessity what-so-ever for taking the support of any political party. Now, TRS bagged both Mayor & Deputy Mayor without sharing basis.
TRS won in some of the Muslim dominated areas of Old City. That's why MIM got dropped down to 33 seats from 45 seats in 2009 here.
