Does the appointment of KTR as TRS Working President indicate that no ministerial berth will be offered to the CM's Son in the second term? A section of media thinks so!
During the TRS Executive Committee Meeting at Telangana Bhavan on Friday, KCR assured that KTR would devout his complete time to the party from Saturday and termed this as an exercise to strengthen the party at ever level. This statement fuelled the rumours that KTR won't be serving as Minister in this term.
When media quizzed him if he will be the next CM prior to the Assembly Polls, KTR replied, 'I feel Ministry itself is too big a task for Me. I don't want to be even Minister'.
Looks like, KCR and KTR had a clear vision on what need to be done if they retain power. Even if he mayn't be a part of the cabinet, KTR will have more power than any of the Ministers.
Analysts say, This could be a strategy to appoint KTR as CM of Telangana depending on the situation post 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. If KCR moves to national politics, None other than KTR will take the responsibility of TRS Government.
