Kamal Haasan announced the name of his political party 'Makkal Neethi Maiam' (People's Justice Party) and unfurled the party flag (a circle of hands holding one another with colors white, black and red) during the public meeting in Madurai on Wednesday.
Addressing the large gathering, Kamal said Tamil Naidu's soul is burning Today and pledged to burn the fingers of the corrupt. 'The newly founded MAKKAL NEEDHI MAIAM is your party. It’s here to stay, and to make the change we all aspire for. Guide us to serve you. We aim to create a people's party. I see the faces of lot of leaders in the crowd here. People who have gathered here are enraged by the corruption,' he informs.
The 63-Year-Old told he will seek suggestions from the Leaders who attended his party launch. He thanked Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for gracing the launch.
Ulaganayagan declared this public meeting isn't gonna be a one-off-thing. He revealed his plans to conduct many more public meetings to expose the corrupt rulers.
