Kamal Haasan had no other option but to cancel his planned visit to an elementary school in Rameshwaram where former President APJ Abdul Kalam studied. Taking into account that the Actor is taking a plunge into politics Today, Education Authorities have denied permission for him.
Actually, Kamal wishes to address the students of Kamal's School at 8 am on Wednesday. He, however, was denied permission by Mandapam Assistant Elementary Education Officer citing students will be left confused if politicians deliver their speeches in the school.
Even the Hindu Munnani Leaders raised objection to the proposed visit of Kamal Haasan to the Government School. A letter has been submitted to District Collector seeking denial of permission for the Actor-turned-Politician.
Ulaganayagan reacted to the whole episode in his style. 'No politics in the decision to visit school. They can stop Me from going to school but not from learning,' he asserts.
