Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan shared the stage at an event organized by DMK in Chennai to celebrate 75 Years of party's mouthpiece 'Murasoli'.
During this event, Kamal Haasan gave an indication that he might join active politics. He, however, gave a clarity that joining DMK is definitely not going to be his agenda.
Kamal recalled DMK Chief Karunanidhi sending him a Telegram in 1983 asking why don't he join his party. Interestingly, The Legendary Actor never gave a reply and even Karunanidhi never asked about it again. 'That's his (Karunanidhi) greatness. I have attended this meeting hoping to receive the same respect,' he said.
On the other hand, Rajinikanth who sat in the front row allotted for VIPs is watchful and didn't show any interest to take part in the discussion.
