BJP President Kambhampati Haribabu on Sunday unveiled the book 'AP Ki Kendram Saayam' and even wrote an open letter to AP Government. On this occasion, He recalled the resolution passed by CM Chandrababu Naidu in AP Assembly thanking Centre for the Special Package. 'Babu need to explain to people why he took an u-turn all of a sudden. After BJP came to power, None of the Indian States were granted Special Status but we offered to extend all the benefits through Special Package. Had if Special Status was granted, AP would have received just around Rs 16,000 crore. Whereas, Centre sanctioned Rs 9,487 crore for 2015-16 and Rs 17,242 crore for 2016-17,' he informed.
Haribabu condemned the allegation of TDP MP Thota Narasimhulu that projects have been shifting to other parts of the country after quitting NDA. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of taking up programmes only which are beneficial to his government.
Finding fault with Chandrababu for criticizing PM Narendra Modi during his Singapore tour, The Visakha MP asked AP Chief Minister to realize conflict with Union Government will lead to injustice for AP. At the same time, He reiterated Centre will continue to assist AP in every possible manner.
